Lake Kleerant
Improves Water Clarity & Reduces Nuetrient Levels
WHAT IS LAKE KLEERANT?
Kleerant is a alum and sodium bicarbonate compound that buffers the pH change
from alum to protect fish.
IMPROVES WATER CLARITY: Kleerant by attaching itself to both organic and inorganic particles suspended in the water, makes these particles heavier and will drop them out to the bottom. By removing these suspended particles, crystal clear water can be obtained.
REDUCES NUTRIENT LEVELS High nutrient levels such as phosphates in a body of water can cause a variety of problems, including excessive weed and algae growth, water discoloration and murkiness. Kleerant is very efficient at chemically combining with phosphates and effectively removing them from the water.
REMOVES IRON: The use of Kleerant to remove iron from water has been very successful. For situations where iron is a problem, Kleerant is a valuable tool for it's removal
APPLICATION RATE:
Kleerant is normally used at the rate of 40 to 80 pounds per acre foot of water.
This rate can vary according to the amount of suspended materials and nutrients
in the water. Total alkalinity and pH of lake water are important in determining
rates. we can provide a water test kit for sending samples for analysis.
HOW IS IT APPLIED: Kleerant is a water soluble powder, that can be applied by either broadcasting evenly over the surface of the water or can be diluted with water and sprayed. Kleerant is packaged in two separate bags, labeled A & B apply as much of bag A (Alum Compound) as possible in 20 minutes, then retreat the same area with a proportional amount of bag B (the Buffer).
SAFE: Kleerant when used at normal applications rates is completely non-toxic to humans, fish and all other beneficial life organisms in your pond or lake.
