Large-Leaf Pondweed
(Potamogeton amplifolius)

Description
Large, thick stem with wavy, oblong submersed leaves wihich taper to the stem. The floating leaves are more oval. There is a solid, tightly packed pike of nutlets at the tip of the plant. Commonly found in the northern half of the United States.
