Water Milfoil
(Myriophyllum spp.)

Description
The stem is hollow with whorled leaves at intervals along entire length of plant. Leaves are feather like in appearance. The plant is submerged except for a stalk of tiny flowers which may extend above the water surface. Found throughout the United States.
