Small Pondweed
(Potamogeton pusillus)

Description
Small pondweed has numerous lateral branches on a slender stem. Narrow ribbon-like leaves alternately arranged on branches. Leaves tapers to point of attachent on stem. Nutlets arranged on spike in loose pattern. Commonly found troughout the United States.
