Sonar Aquatic Herbicide

Sonar is used in situations where it is necessary to eliminate all rooted vegetation such as exotic species like Hydrilla, Egeria and Eurasian Milfoil. Sonar is also the best product to use to eliminate Duckweed, Watermeal and other floating plants.

Sonar is a very safe and easy product to use.

Sonar is applied at the rate of 1 quart per surface acre and depending upon the weed species and the amount of coverage, even lesser application rates can apply. The one exception to the above application rate is Watermeal which is a very resistant floating plant, to treat Watermeal it is recommended that you use 1.5 quart per surface acre. Sonar works by destroying the pigmentation of the plant so that the sun destroys chloropyll and the plant starves to death.
