(Ruppia Maritima)

Description

Leaves are threadlike, narrow, extending from extensive buried root system. Four to six fruites borne in clusters on short stalks at the top of the plants. Commonly found in shallow, brackish water or alkaline waters. Mainly found around the coastal area of the United States and around the great lakes of the mid-west.
